Insurance Coverage at Zion Physical Therapy
Zion Physical Therapy works with most insurance plans including: Cigna, Aetna, Oxford, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare and several others. Physical Therapy is a covered benefit on almost all medical insurance plans. The allowable number of visits per year or per condition varies from plan to plan.
Zion Physical Therapy is happy to work with your insurance company to determine your physical therapy benefits. You can either call us directly or email us your insurance name, ID# and DOB to verify benefits. At Zion Physical Therapy we understand how confusing insurance can be. As a courtesy Zion Physical Therapy will bill your insurance company for you and help explain your explanation of benefits (EOB’s) as questions arise.
CT Direct Access Law
Under the CT Direct Access Law you do NOT need a prescription from a medical doctor for 6 visits or 30 days, whichever comes first.
NJ Direct Access Law
Under NJ Direct Access Law you do NOT need a prescription from a medical doctor unless there is no demonstration of reasonable progress within 30 days of the date of the initial treatment.
NYS Direct Access Law
Under the NYS Direct Access Law you do NOT need a prescription from a medical doctor for 10 visits or 30 days, whichever comes first.
